Yes. The whole everyday loop is free forever — chores shared fairly by effort and age, the calendar (also in your phone’s calendar), birthdays, check-ins, shared costs, phone notifications and the weekly recap, points and achievements, shopping, lists, the pantry, the meal plan and a recipe box, chat, the vault and app lock. Harmony Plus adds the kitchen display, the world food menu, unlimited AI (including calendar import), splitting receipts by item, more kids, rewards, recipes, calendars and documents, allowance and smart receipt insights. Every new home gets Plus free for its first month.
Can I use Harmony on my computer?
Yes. Open it in Chrome, Edge or Safari, or install it as a desktop app on Windows or Mac — it gets its own window and icon, and stays in sync with everyone’s phones. On Android, get it from Google Play.
How many people can join a household?
As many as you need. Share your 6-character invite code and an admin lets each person in, as a member or as a guest (guests see the calendar, shopping, meals, chat and shared costs — never documents or kids). Changes sync live on every device.
Can I be in more than one home?
Yes. Keep your own home and join a partner’s place, a shared flat or a holiday trip, then switch between them in one tap — each phone or tablet remembers which home it shows. Leaving a home never deletes anything, and you can come back by yourself within 30 days.

What happens after the free month?
Nothing is charged automatically. Your home moves to the free plan, and everything you saved stays — you just can’t add past the free limits. Subscribe any time to keep every Plus feature.
Does Harmony track my location?
No. Check-ins are manual — you tap “I’m home” or “On my way”. A location is attached only if you tick “share where I am” for that one check-in, rounded to about 100 metres, and only your household sees it.
Are family documents safe?
Documents are stored privately for your household only. Files open through links that expire after a minute, nobody outside your home can reach them, and you can delete any document at any time.
Does it work for kids?
Yes. Kid mode gives children their own simple screen and PIN on a parent’s phone — no email or account needed. They get chores that suit their age, earn points, chat with the grown-ups (they send text only, no links), and can say “I can’t do this one”. You approve every reward.
Are our messages private?
Private chats are only visible to the people in them. Turn on App lock and Harmony asks for your fingerprint, face or PIN whenever it opens, so nobody else can read your chats or vault on your phone. Kid mode never asks for a password.
Will Harmony remind me?
Yes. Turn on notifications and you’ll get a reminder before calendar events and a morning summary of your chores, timed to your own time zone.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no contracts — cancel whenever you like and you keep full access to everything on the Free plan.
Is my household data private?
Yes. Your data is scoped to your household with row-level security, so only your members can see it. We never sell your data or show ads.
